Hi all,
Potentially daft question but I'd rather ask and risk it than not!
We are in a situation where we will be producing a chatbot for an IT support/managed service that we provide. The support service is for multiple external companies rather than ourselves. Each external company has their own Azure Tenant.
Lets say for arguments sake, that the requirements for the bot are identical for each company. It will allow users to report an IT issue, the bot will then create a ticket (using their details such as name & email) in our cloud based ITSM instance via an API.
So:
- Can we develop a bot in our tenant, publish it to a website and allow users in other companies to log in/authenticate themselves via their credentials, and give them access to their own relevant Azure Active Directory (to look up details / execute automations etc)? Or is it only possible for the bot to access the AD that it is hosted within?
- Does each of the external companies we support/manage, need to buy their own Virtual Agents tenant licence and we then export our bot and import it into each of their tenants, then publish it to Teams or whenever?
Thanks in advance (I suspect I'll have follow up questions!)
