Sum Formula Help

Hi folks

Probably very simple answer but trolled the internet and tried a million versions.

I have a sharepoint list called ScoutsLedger with 100 transactions and I am trying to sum all transactions which have account Subs in the Credit column.

I have tried this one but keep getting various errors.

Sum(Filter(ScoutsLedger, Account = Subs),Credit)

I wonder if anyone can spot any errors.

Thank you very much.

Yes, well first of all, you mention that "all transactions which have account Subs in the Credit column".  However, your formula is filtering the Account column for Subs - which is not know what that is.  And then you are summing the Credit column.  So that doesn't match your description.

Perhaps you can clarify what you are stating.

Next, what kind of column is Account in your list, and what kind is Credit?

Yeah need a little more info as Randy said. Double Subs is the actual text value in that column which would look like below :P.

    Sum(Filter(ScoutsLedger, Account = "Subs"),Credit)

    Good morning.

Accounts is a text droptown column with account names.  Credit and debit are both currency columns.  Subs would be credit.

hope this is a better explanation.

    Thanks for any help.

I tried it with another test list and an excel file and both worked so it must be a problem with the list.  The list was made importing an excel file, it does have a bit of formatting in it but not sure what the problem is.  Will keep you posted.

    Thank you so far.

So I created a new list called ledger with the same excel file and now getting this.

delegation warning the highlighted part of this formula might not work correctly on large data sets The Sum operation is not supported in this connector.  The excel file that created the list works fine.
