Best solution for pdf storage?

Hi all.

I have a few thousand pdf files of invoices with associated metadata (i.e. vendor, invoice amount etc.)

What is the best solution for storing those invoices and associated metadata and to be able to edit the metadata within PowerApps?

I am currently using SharePoint but this has its limitations, something on Azure would be ideal.

    Would it be possible to store those files into Azure Files, or Azure Blob storage?

    Desiding when to use Azure Blobs, Azure Files, or Azure Data Disks

    Yes, absolutely no problem to use Azure, I am a big fan.

    But how do I then integrate it with PowerApps?  And by the way, I still need to retain the ability to limit access to the files, so cannot make all files public.

    Hi @Meneghino,

     

    Within PowerApps only, it is available to connect to Excel file through the Azure Blob storage connection.

    If you would like to save the PDF file, you may consider take use of the Microsoft Flow to create a blob.

    Check the following information for the corresponding connectors:

    Azure File Storage (Preview)

    Azure Blob Storage

    Assume that I create a pdf blob in Azure File Storage or Azure Blob Storage, how can I then access it from within PowerApps?
