Can you create a business selling Power Apps connectors for QuickBooks Online?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask such a question.

I was wondering if it's possible to create and sell Power Apps connectors that enable Power App Developer to "connect" to external business systems. For example, could a Power App Developer or its clients/stakeholders, purchase a connector that allows them to easily view/create/search customers/invoices/receipts in their QuickBooks Online Accounting database. I have experience developing apps for Quickbooks Online and I have 10+ years developing with various Microsoft technologies, so I'm confident that creating a Power App connector would not be very difficult to create in my spare time. I dont have any experience with Power Apps, but I know i can learn it pretty quickly.

Anyways, I was wondering if it possible to have a viable business creating and selling a connector that connect to Quickbooks Online (and/or other business systems) as a tool for Power App developers?

    Hi @enzo85,

A connector is simply a wrapper around an API, and the connector is classified as either standard or premium. Any additional subscription/licensing to use a connector's API is handled by its publisher independently and outside of the boundaries of Power Platform. You'd typically require some sort of API key to authenticate to your service which is obtained through purchasing a license/subscription to your service.

So your firdt step is to design/develop your own API and decide how to commercialize it. Once you've figured that part out, you would want to create and test the connector in Power Apps/Automate. Once you've done that, you'd then want to go through the process of getting certified as a verified publisher.
