Azure AI Search incl. Vector Index not working for Agent created in Copilot Studio

We created a copilot agent thats connects to an Azure AI Search instance as knowledge base.

I am trying to ask questions like "What is the relationship between AI readiness and the realized value employees get from using AI tools?" that is used by this example:

Azure-Samples/azure-ai-search-multimodal-sample: A sample app for the Multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation pattern running in Azure, using Azure AI Search for retrieval and Azure OpenAI large language models to power Q&A experiences.

However I am always getting (when I am trying directly in Azure AI Search it is working, see second screenshot):

... so it looks like that the vector index is not working from the Copilot Agent side (as it works in Azure AI Search).

Does anybody have any clue why the Agent in Copilot Studio does not retrieve any answer based on the same user input that works in Azure AI Search directly? In the Activity Map it is visible that the Azure AI Search is triggered by the agent.

I have exactly the same problem with Confluence. It worked wonder before, now I do have the same error as you. Did you find any solution?

Same issue on my side.... we used a Confluence connector and it worked well the last weeks.. now it's broken with the same error message:

Seems like the problem is not isolated.

@DA-04070757-0 we happen to have the exact same case.

Just in case, I already tried the following :

- Made a new connector on both 365 and Copilot Studio

- Changed OAUTH2 creds and made them anew

- Tried playing with indexing

To no avail. My agent simply doesn't catch anything from my Confluence space.

Was there an update recently on Copilot Studio ?

Huge let down. My whole agent is useless now, and it seems there is no solution regarding that. I feel like the problem is due to that update on July 3rd : https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/home#/MessageCenter/:/messages/MC1108840

Today I tried a Sharepoint Online Library as data source and I receive the same error message...

Anybody already a solution to it?

Update-- Sharepoint Online Library works...
