Scanner on iPad does not work on IOS 17, IOS 15 had no issue.

Hi All,

I have an App that has been running fine for the past 3-4 years.  It scans the barcode of all packages coming into our building's mailroom.  the other day there as an update to the IOS and the scanner stopped scanning barcodes.  It still scans QR Codes.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? 

 

This is Purely an iPad issue, iPhones still work fine with the latest IOS.

    Happened to me too.  The new barcode reader will work but barcode scanner quit working on iPads.  We have iPhones and even an iPad Mini that still works, just not the iPad.

     

    I'm just going through and replacing all the barcode scanners in my app with barcode reader, but it really isn't as good.  Too complicated for simple scanning.
