Hi,

I am trying to import the excel file data to dataverse, but getting the error "Import failed. Click the link below to download the error details." and gives me 25 errors out of 600+ records. I did map the fields correctly. I have lookup columns, text, choice etc on the table. Can you advise on what could have gone wrong?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello @Teresa24486,

You can easily find the errored(Failure records)

Navigate to Dataverse--> Click Gear Icon on Top--> Select Advance Settings --> Select DataManagement --> Select Import --> Open the Failed Record and Click Failure Tab and you can see the Description like below screenshot.

if you need further help you can share the screenshot to help the same

There is an Option to Download Erorr File ALONE to import it again with out disturbing the existing import

    Hi @rampprakash,

The excel import did not go through successfully, hence I cannot find the records. Please advise.

    Hi @Teresa24486 ,

The data looks to be unreadable for these rows in your exported file.  Not sure why this is...  Did you check the source data of these records to see if you have anything that looks weird?   One thing that usually causes failures for me on imports like this is when the record's lookup can't be resolved because there are duplicates in the Dataverse.  Not saying this is the case here but usual condition I have.

In the user interface for the errors, does it give a reason the record failed?  It will usually say the error in the UI.

    Thanks,

    Drew

    Hi @dpoggemann

I do not have duplicates in the lookup, its a list of values, not sure why it is appearing this way on the excel sheet.

    Hello @Teresa24486

1.sign in powerapps.com, expand the Data section.
2.Select Tables in the left navigation pane.
3.Select Get Data > Get data from Excel.
4.Select the tables where you want to import data,
    and then select Next.
5.On the Import data page, select Upload,
    and choose your file.
6.Follow prompts to upload your file.
After the file is uploaded and Mapping status indicates
    Mapping was successful,
select Import from the top-right corner.
7.Go to Troubleshoot mapping errors with Excel to
navigate and fix any mapping errors.

Hope this will be helpful for you.

    Thank you.

Hola, con respecto a tu pregunta

1 ten en cuenta los tipos de datos que tienes en tus columnas ya que cada tipo tiene una manera de tratar sobre todo los de tipo opción o de si o no.
