How to autofill a form and save to SP list

Hi Community,

In my powerapp, I have added a combo box and created a people picker.  I have connected this to O365.  This is working fine, however, I now want to prepopulate a form with the info from the O365 user account.  For example: John Williams has selected his name from the people picker, then just below on the app there is a "registration form" with Title, Name, Lastname, Email. I want these fields to automatically populate once he selects his name on the people picker.  Then it must be saved under a sharepoint list I already created.

How can I achieve this?Screenshot 2022-02-25 152116.png

    Is your expectation that people will only be selecting their own names?

    Hi

    Not sure if this is what you want but I did it like this:
    Create a dropdown and in the Item property I put Office365Users.SearchUser(), in the Value option choose DisplayName:

    Jose_Freitas_0-1645799744607.png

    Now for each field you can put the Dropdown value in the default and choose what type of variable you want to populate with:

    Yes, a person will only choose his/her own name.

    Hi @suridup1,

    In case this is about the user of the app, may I suggest you use the Office 365 Users connector:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/connection-office365-users

    If you add that connector to your app, you can set the default values in your form as per below:

    First Name: Office365Users.MyProfile().GivenName

    Surname: Office365Users.MyProfile().Surname

    Email: Office365Users.MyProfile().Mail

    A person doesn't need to select their name from the list.  You can use the Office365Users.MyProfileV2() connector to auto-populate the fields with the information for the current user.

    Like this:

    FirstName Text Property:

    Office365Users.MyProfileV2().givenname

    Surname Text Property:

    Office365Users.MyProfileV2().surname

    Email Text Property:

    Office365Users.MyProfileV2().mail
