Hi all,
We have enabled Power Apps Analytics at the Tenant level, and our Unique users totals 358. For the same period, our New users is 109.
We know that we only have about 100 users who have accessed our app, so I'm wondering what these metrics actually mean.
How is a unique user determined & how is a return user determined? Does it calculate daily? e.g. could a unique user on one day actually be the same person as another day?
e.g. on one particular day, we have
10 new users
20 return users
55 sessions
On the next day we have
7 new users
20 return users
38 sessions
Any further explanation of these metrics would be super helpful!
Hi @Jinnes
Unique users are described as unique users included in the current view.
Total sessions are Power Apps sessions performed within the report window.
New users are new users registering activity.
Please note that it take up to 24 to 48 hours for the metrics to start showing from the previous day.
Here is the Microsoft learn docs for tenant-level analytics:

Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Sylvia
