I would like PVA to run the Escalate topic only on the second failed user input.

Hello,
I would like PVA not to trigger the Escalate Topic at the first wrongly entered message (like in the picture below), but to ask the end user to enter his first message again in a modified way and only if this message was not understood by PVA a second time, the Excalate Topic should be triggered.

I'm having a hard time getting the topic to ask for a second input from the bot before doing the Escalate topic.

Kind regards
Viktor

Im using PVA for Teams and dont have access to the Web-Version. @HenryJammes what your talking about is only possible if you're havin the web-version, right?

    Hi @Anonymous

This is now possible in the latest version of Power Virtual Agents. You can configure the question behavior to achieve the desired experience: Ask a question - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn

In the classic version you might be able to do the same, but using the Bot Framework Composer, so a more pro-dev and complex approach.

To migrate to the latest version of PVA, have a look at this article: Unified authoring canvas migration guidance - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn
