    Hi

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

The message "The data in the preview has been truncated due to size limits" typically means that the tool you're using (e.g., Power BI) is only displaying a portion of the data due to constraints like memory, query performance, or display limits. However, this doesn't necessarily mean the full data isn't accessible—it just isn't fully visible in the preview.

    Solutions:

Increase Data Load Limits: In Power BI, for example, you can navigate to File > Options and Settings > Options > Current File > Data Load and adjust the limits for maximum rows or size. Be cautious, as increasing these limits may impact performance.

Filter the Data: Apply filters to reduce the amount of data displayed in the preview. This can be done by excluding unnecessary rows or columns during the import process.

Load the Full Data: Even if the preview is truncated, the full dataset might still load correctly when you proceed with the import. Verify this by completing the import process and checking the loaded data.

Optimize Queries: If you're working with a large dataset, consider summarizing or aggregating the data before importing it. This reduces the load and improves performance.

Use a Data Model: For large datasets, creating relationships between tables in a data model can help manage and display data more efficiently.

If this fixes the issue, please mark as resolved to help others with find it.

    Happy to help
