Installing Power Apps in Edge

I have some Power Apps that I want to install in Edge – call them App1, App2, App3 etc. I do this, obviously, by choosing "Apps" from the '...' menu at the top of Edge.

With the first app I try to install, say App1, I get no problem: Edge installs the app exactly as required. But thereafter, instead of Edge offering me the option to "Install this site as an app", I get "Open in App1" – this happens with App2, App3 etc.

This was not always the case: until recently I have been able to get all my apps to install correctly. So maybe something has changed in Edge.

I am running Version 131.0.2903.112 (Official build) (64-bit).

Does anyone have an explanation (and a solution)?

It seems you're trying to use the App (PWA) features in Microsoft Edge to launch individual Power Apps. Since a PWA is created for the URL, and each Power App has the same base URL, this will not work as you expect.

Perhaps you could try using the Power Apps Windows app and launch apps from there?

I can use the Power Apps Windows app (thank you @egregorich for that suggestion). However, I need to run my apps simultaneously, and it is not possible to create more than one instance of the Power Apps Windows app.
