Hello,

I'm trying to change the content and subject of an email.

I don't want to move or resend the mail, just change the content after the mail was arrived in the inbox.

It should work in the following way:

This is the original subject
This is the original mail body

Should be changed to:

This is the CHANGED subject
This is the CHANGED mail body

I couldn't find the appropriate action so far 😞

Thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

@Frankyboy  you want to change email content of the mail that has arrived in the mailbox? If yes, i dont think you can do that.

You can't. May I ask you what's your aim?

    Re: Change email content

I am not the original author of the question, but I have a similar need. My use case is:

    - we share a file hierarchy associated to a Teams channel btw ~10 users

    - we all synced this file structure to our respective laptops

    - when sharing reference to a shared document in emails, we either use a link or copy-paste the path from windows explorer

    - I and some other team members dislike the link option because it opens in a browser and several clicks (and sometimes pwd) are necessary to open the file in a desktop app

    - but when sharing the path, some other users complain about the fact that they must modify it since all of us do not sync the file structure at the sam local path

I thought that a workaround could be to detect presence of a path in incoming emails and change it to match to the local path to synced file structure (would probably be more power automate desktop than the online version)

Makes sense? (I fully expect a 80% of "no")

    Re: Change email content

I believe that unification of local paths will be much easier than modification of ingoing emails.
