Login Lookup Forgotten Password Formula Help

I have a Login Screen that works perfectly, however I have added a forgotten password button and would like the user to enter their name, then when you press the button it lookups the person email and send them an email with the details.

The button needs to look at the EnterNameLogin.Text, Lookup the Access List Name Column then send an email containing the Password Text in the column to the Email column text.

    I'm assuming you have already created screen for Forgot password and user is being navigated to that screen when they click on the button. On the Forgot password screen you can have the name/email text box setup and when user enters their name on button click you can check their entered name in DB.

    IsBlank(Lookup('Your Source', Name=Textbox.Text))
    If the expression is true that mean user is there in the system then you can give password textbox to reset it and patch it to DB.

    So I have setup a password reset screen that the user enters their name and the new password. And I thought the follwoing would work to lookup the Name and patch a new password?

    Patch('WTRF Access List',LookUp('WTRF Access List',Name=TextInputCanvas1.Value),{Password:=TextInputCanvas1_1.Value})

    But i get this error:

    Hi Jamescosten

    With regards to the formula that you're using to reset/patch a new password, removing the = sign in the section where you define the new password should resolve the error.

    Patch('WTRF Access List',
          LookUp('WTRF Access List',Name=TextInputCanvas1.Value),
          {Password:TextInputCanvas1_1.Value}
    )

    you'll have to remove (=) operator.

    Patch('WTRF Access List',
          LookUp('WTRF Access List',Name=TextInputCanvas1.Value),
          {Password:TextInputCanvas1.Value}
    )
