I have created a Power App.
The app is based on a Sharepoint List.
There is on going conversation about whether to access the SP LIst through the
'Use a custom form created in Power Apps', or directly through Power Apps.
I did NOT create the app using the 'Use a custom form created in Power Apps'.
Is there a way to connect the SharePoint list to my Power App, even though I
didin't create the app using the 'User a custom form created in Power Apps',
so that when the user, while in the SharePoint list, clicks 'New' item or 'Edit' item,
the Power App I've created will open?
Figured it out.
I opened the existing SP form through 'List Settings' - 'Form Settings'.
I changed the SharePoint list to 'New Experience'.
I created new screens in that form and pasted my Power Apps form screen(s) content to those new screens and connected that content to the data source.
I then had to update the field and control connections to the appropriate list, and re-write the formulas and variables.
A bit of work; But, hey, it worked.
