button firing off other functions on other forms

I have a a weird thing happening.(or maybe its normal)

 

I was using the Monitor Tool to try and catch an error and the cause.(from a button)

Simple patch.

 

 

I noticed something else.

I see other functions firing off on other forms ?  when i'm not even referencing them ?

    Everything in PowerApps is referential.  All formulas will constantly re-evaluate and update based on other areas of your App.  

    It is not like a development app where you expect only what you act on to occur.  This is what makes PowerApps Powerful!  It is always updated across the app.

     

    So what you are seeing is normal.

    PowerApps is built around Excel.  It works much the same way.  If you have a formula on some sheet in your workbook that references many other items in your workbook, then when you change anything else that might impact any of those items referenced anywhere, then the formula will re-evaluate and update as needed.

    Same thing in PowerApps!
