Hi,
we are testing Copilot in our environment and have setup new environment with region in USA, then changed browsers display language to English US.
The AI assitant is visible for Power Platform admins, but for normal user with Basic user and Environment maker role it is not visible.
In the same browser I logged in with admin account (has power platform admin role), the AI assistant is showing fine.
If i log in with my normal user, the AI assistant is not listed. Both account has same Power app and Power automate license.
What other roles are required? As far as Microsoft documentation, only requirements are Environment is in USA and browsers display languange is in English USA.
So why is it working on one account and not the other?
I had to grant user system administrator role for it to work...Not ideal in a production environment..
Hi Gulshan,
i have tried to grant the user all those robot roles, but that did not help. Will have to try other roles to see which one works.
Hi @leng4ever
In the absence of documentation, I would try giving Org level permissions for Create privilege on Canvas App table under 'Customisation' tab of the Environment Maker security role (Basic User role is not editable anymore so you can't change permissions there).
Alternatively, you could try with Environment Maker role in your own 'Developer' environment (since the create permission is set as user level for Environment Maker).
The other tables you can try are 'chatbot' and 'chatbot subcomponent' under 'Custom Entities' tab.
I hope this information helps and works. Please give a Thumbs Up to my reply to show your support for my efforts. If it helps you resolve your query then please accept it as a solution.
Kind regards
Gulshan
