HR CoPilot Responding in Spanish

Currently we have a Copilot Chat Bot configured for our HR information.  We created (and re-created) it as an English language chatbot but from time to time when asked a question it responds in Spanish.
 
Any ideas why that might be occuring?

    Have you tried to provide instructions to the copilot to always answer in English?

    Hey there,
     
    In my case, the bot was deployed in Teams as an app, the bot takes the Team´s language, that is the reason why despite the primary language was Spanish in Copilot Studio, the bot takes the Team´s language, but then you must write code to override the language of the channel and check if that works.

    I have the same issues. These are some steps I tried to troubleshoot:
    1. Check Language Settings in Copilot Studio:Go to the settings or preferences section in Copilot Studio.Ensure the language setting is set to your preferred language (e.g., English).
     
    1. Check Browser or System Language Settings: Sometimes, Copilot Studio might use the browser or system language settings.Verify that your browser’s language settings (especially in Chrome or Firefox) are set to English.Similarly, check your system's language settings to ensure they are set correctly.
     
    1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Cached data or cookies might be causing the language issue.Clear the cache and cookies in your browser and restart Copilot Studio.
     
    1. Re-login or Refresh Tokens: Log out of Copilot Studio and log back in. This can sometimes reset settings that might have gotten mixed up.If you use any authentication tokens, refreshing them might help.
     
    1. Reinstall or Update Extensions: If you’re using any browser extensions or plugins, particularly for translation or language management, they might interfere with the display language.Disable such extensions or update them to see if the issue persists.
    2. I have switched on "Require Users to Sign in"
     
    None of these have fixed the issue.

    I have the same problem, did you solve it? @Charles, Microsoft support never answers. In my case primary language is Spanish and secondary Language is English, it keeps defaulting to English. And I don´t want that user manually sign in as commented in other post.

    I'm not sure if you're still facing the issue, but for information, I faced the same problem and fixed it by activating the "Require users to sign in" option under "Settings" > "Security" > "Authentication" > "Authenticate manually" :
    After that, the chatbot started to behave and answers in English ;)
