Renaming a Table

I have an ALM solution where somehow a table name in the production environment reverted to an old name (how that happened is a mystery). As a result, when I attempt to deploy from UAT to production, I get an error that says, "<TABLE NAME> is not a renamable entity. Hence Entity Display Name cannot be modified."

How do I change the name in either the DEV or the Production environment so that I can get them to match? For example, is there a setting I must set with the environment to allow for this? The table name used to be editable, but now it is greyed out.

Many thanks!

I've never seen anything like that before. Can you post a screenshot? The Display name field on this Edit table flyout is disabled?

The one on the left is DEV. the one on the right is PROD. Both are greyed out.

I have just run into this issue as well. Did you find a solution?

    Hi,

Make sure you modify in Dev and move the solution to PROD else it will show as Unmanaged Layer.

    2. Choose your environment
    3. Click Table
    4. Select Settings
    5. Click Properties
    6. Update the Name

Please mark as answer if my suggestion helps.
