When will Office scripts for Word become available in Power Automate?

For creating Word reports in Power Automate it is in my opinion a must-have to get the opportunity using office scripts for automating some tasks after the creation of the document. Unlike Excel it is not even possible to use macro-enabled documents in the Power Automate task "Populate a Microsoft Word template".

I have the same question (0)

I also have this need. Is it on the roadmap Microsoft?

I am very tired of having to do all the tedium I had automated over the last 20 years manually again because this laggy mess is called progress 😓 The word connector is a utterly useless.

Because most reports are sent as PDFs I use pre-formatted Excel templates instead of word. You have lots of options for working with excel. You only get one lame option for word that is behind an obscene pay wall.

@MaximK : But not for all reports is Excel the best option. For this use case a Word document was a better fit. But because of the lack of scripting options for Word documents in Power Automate it was a struggle to get it done.
