    Hi @johnjohn123 ,

Would this happen to be an old environment where the default environment is still under version 1.0?  See the following article which could be related...  https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/upgrade-your-previous-version-common-data-service-database-apps-and-flows/

    Hi @johnjohn123 ,

Have you checked in the admin.powerplatform.com to verify you have the space allocated (at least 1 GB) to create a new environment?  This is not the error I would normally see but just another thing to check...

You aren't in a demo type tenant are you?

I would probably open a case with Microsoft otherwise on this.

    Hi @johnjohn123 ,

Looks like you are in a demo or trial environment at this time.  This is why you see 0 MB used in the database, file and log storage.

You will need to purchase at least a Power Apps Per App license ($5 monthly) to get storage allocated to create environments.  The first license you buy will allocate 5 GB of storage in the Dataverse which will allow you to create a new environment.  You will then get 50MB for each Power Apps Per App license you purchase (but no more initial allocation, the 5GB comes once 😀).   There are other licenses like Power Apps Per User ($20 monthly) that will add additional storage to the overall allocation and come with more per user storage allocation...

@dpoggemann thanks for the reply, but i do not want to create a new environment , I need to create a new solution ? so will purchasing a single license sufficient to get the needed resources to create a new solution ? Thanks

    Hi @johnjohn123 ,

You should be able to create a solution without needing a license.  Microsoft should provides this ALM capability without requiring the need to purchase an environment.

So when you are trying to do this are you in the Default Environment and clicking Solutions in left hand navigation of the Maker Portal?  You should get a screen like the following to create the solution but are you getting something asking you to create the database or is it a separate area where you are getting the error?

    Hi @gigyani ,

Please open new ticket for your question to not confuse with one here.

I had this exact same error. I was trying to create a power apps database, since it was my first time wanting to create a power apps table, and it was requiring a database first.

It hit me, I had created a dataverse trial and was able to login to the powerapps site. But I had not a powerapps trial.

All I had to do was to go to dynamics.com and sign up for a power apps trial this time. Then when I got back into power apps, a database was already created for me, and lots of tables, so I bypassed that error altogether.
