Hi,
We are trying to assign users Single App (Per-User-Per-Month) Licenses to our users to access a single powerapp. We have purchased the licenses but we cannot find any reference to the single app license anywhere. In our licenses list we can find Office365 Powerapps.etc, but nothing in regards to the license we have purchased. All users will have to sign up for a trial otherwise, which is something we'd rather not do as that can lead to a lot of uncertainty.
It is my understanding that you assign the perApp license to the App using the Power Platform admin center in the capacity section. Then the Per App licenses are automatically assigned to each user that you share the app with up to the number of per app licenses that you purchase. The per app licenses are not assigned to the users through any manual process. They are instead assigned automatically when the app is shared with a user who does not have a premium license.
Hi @rayfoster ,
Do you mean that you can not check the license that you've assigned to users?
1)The first way, users could view his plan here:
2)The second way, you could check license in azure ad admin center.
https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/Overview
Choose "license"->all products->the license that you want to check
Then you will view all the users that have been assigned this license.
3)The third way is viewing this in powerapps admin center.
https://admin.powerapps.com/tenant/userLicenses
choose talent->license->download a list
Then you will get a list of user license information for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.
Best regards,
Could You confirm the same by some document please?... that the per app plan has 30 licenses and we can share to 30 users and automatically they get assigned to those licenses .. No need to buy any new license for those shared users?..
The per App plan does NOT contain 30 licenses. When originally announced there was a 30 license minimum purchase. That's where the 30 users is coming from. But that requirement was dropped prior to the go live date in October 1. Per App licenses are for up to two related Apps, one user, for one month.
To the best of my knowledge this will not show the Per App licenses in the tenant, only the per User licenses. The per App licenses can be found in the capacity section of the new Power Platform admin center.
