    Hi @rifan

    In the value textbox try typing 8000000 (ie - do not include the , and . characters in the value).

    Hi @timl , thanks for the advice. The sign " , "or " . " it comes from the system (auto reformat). the actual input from me is only the number 8000000.

    @rifan

    Do you know what the language setting of your Dataverse environment is? Would you have set it up in a language other than English?

    If so, I'd try changing the language of your web browser to match the environment language and to see if that makes a difference.

    This seems to be an issue, we are experiencing the same problem. Even with an English environment, we've tried to set different currency formats both in our Dataverse user profiles and in our Windows region profiles, nothing helped.

    Basically these are the reasons why we usually stick with Javascripts instead of Business Rules, as they always tend to break for whatever reason...

    Hi @rifan - did you manage to solve your issue? I'm running into the same problem trying to configure a similar business rule. I get the same error both in an English environment and a French one.

    I faced the same issue yesterday and found the following work around:

    1. Open the Personal Settings of the user who creates the Business Rule

    2. Go to Tab "Formats" and click the "Customize" Button to the right of the current format setting

    3. Change the setting in the field "Digit Group" to the last one without any digit group symbols:

    4. Save and close the settings screen and re-sign

    5.  If you now create your business rule you will not see the digit group symbol in the value anymore and should be able to save it without error.

    This setting is only required during the creation/change of the the business rule, which means after saving and activating it, you can change the setting back to show the grouping symbol, the business rule will continue to work.

    Hi @Heike. This worked, thank you! I had to also change the "Decimal Symbol" to a period as it was previously set to a  comma. Thanks so much for sharing the tip.
