Hi all, could you help me to solve this,

I have created an event booking app, in this when I booked a time slot it saves to a collection, it perfectly works but when I try to book a third time it only checks the last time slot, and it is not allowed to save new booking. As I think it's only checked with the last item in the SharePoint. To better understand I will explain by the example below.

01 time ---> Start time as an 8.00 AM and End time as a 10.00 AM

02 time---->Start time as a 2.00 PM and End time as a 3.00 PM

in this we can see there is a free time slot between 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM. So I want to book this free time slot        (Ex:10.30AM-12.30 PM), but I couldn't do this. However, I can book for reset hours from 3.00 PM.

    It would add a bit of complexity, but I would suggest running the Start Time and End Time dropdowns off a Collection.  Then whenever you book a timeslot remove any Start time Greater than or equal to the start time and less than or equal to the end time.  You'll also need to do that to create the collection whenever the user picks a new date by filtering the existing entries for that date and removing the start and end times that match existing entries.

    Are you saying that you can't pick start and end times in the open section or that the appointment doesn't sort into that slot?  Collections don't have any default sorting.  They are ordered based on the entry of the records.

    Also, in terms of the code you posted.  If you remove the Start and End times occupied by existing appointments as you add appointments or change the date you won't need to check times.  They will automatically be excluded.  That would be a much easier way to maintain this going forward.

    yes, Pstork1

    I can't pick start and end times in the open section. and I tried to remove the Start and End times occupied by existing appointments as you mentioned in your reply but I couldn't do that, I can only hide that start & end time only, can you give any tips for hide that whole time range.

    for Ex: Star time : 8.00 AM - End time 11.00 AM, so I want to hide whole time range (8-9-10-11).

    How do you populate the dropdowns now?  What do the values look like that you populate them with?

    I have populated dropdown with start time and end time, it loaded by a collection.
