The bot always jumps immediately to the end of the chat - which leads to the user having to scroll up for longer answers. Is there a possibility to set this differently?

You can customize this if you are using a custom website because you can implement JavaScript to get the length of the answer and return the user to the specific height of the screen.
Otherwise, it is not possible yet.

I would argue that is also a suboptimal bot design to have turns with content that take up more than the length of a standard chat window. If content becomes that long you should probably summarize and send them out to a link to read the longer content.
