Triggering a flow - Invalid argument type (Text). Expecting a Record value instead.

in powerapps I trigger a Pa flow.

Sometimes I need to run the flow without a triggerdate. So I have made the fifth parameter optional.

Now when I try to trigger the flow I get this error.

The flow triggers fine if I dont pass in a fifth parameter. If I change the field back to mandatory, the above code runs ok.
I have refreshed the flow in the app a number of times.

What could be the issue?

Optional parameters need to be passed in the form of a record with the parameter name. change the simple Text() function to

{"Trigger date": Text(...)}

thanks. that worked. Only change I had to make was single instead of double quotes..

{'Trigger date': Text(...)}
