I developed multiple SharePoint List forms using Power Apps, but recently noticed some odd behavior with existing and new Power Apps as follow.
  •  Users create new item fill out Power App form and save the changes and add another item.
    • when adding new item it loads one of the previous created item.
    • ResetForm(SharePointForm1);NewForm(SharePointForm1);Clear(colAttachments);Remove(colAttachementTypes,{Title: "All"});
  • I am creating master and detail form, when saving master form SharePoint integration loads first item in the list. Following is the code in form Item property.
    • "If(IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected),LookUp(PriceChangeAuthorization,ID = currentPCAID),SharePointIntegration.Selected)"
Please guide what to do on these above issues.

    Hi Mohandar
    Your issue is that Integrated Apps were never designed to be a record management tool like a Canvas App and the form Item was designed to be based on SharePointIntegrated.Selected (so the user selected a record from SharePoint or created a new one, worked on it, then went back to SharePoint and selected/created another one). Your main problem is that SharePointIntegration.Selected will remain at the record you last selected in SharePoint, even if you create a new item, so the behaviour you are seeing is expected. Also if you start using a Record Variable and give preference to that, it will remain active until you refresh the browser in SharePoint (so subsequent selected records from SharePoint will not display).
    I would suggest you consider a Canvas app here.

    Hi WarrenBelz,

    Thank you for your prompt reply, if it is expected behavior why this is happening now this application is 6 to 8 months old, and I have multiple applications using SharePoint integration and we never had this issue before.
    There must be something is changed recently, I am sure other users are or will be facing this issue, is there any better solution instead for redesign whole thing in Canavas App.

    Thanks,
    Mohandar

    Option 2 would be far better (Canvas App). It may have been a recent change, but I have answered a number of similar posts over a long period with the same issue of trying to change records while the app is open with similar issues to yours.
