Hi all,
We as an organization have multiple Power Platform environments with running pipelines between them. Since some time - due to security reasons - the pipelines set the owner to an app registration/ Application User. However we have some issues.
The most important issue is that - when users share app URLs with each other - the email gets send to the owner (the app registration). However, these messages simply get lost, since the app registration does not have an email.
We have tried setting the email of the application user in dataverse to an existing email. This, however, did not work as intended. I suspect it might have to do with fields such as Primary Email Status set to 'Pending approval' and Access Mode to non-interactive.
My question to you is:
Can we make sure the owner still is the app registration, but emails are forwarded (or intercepted) and if so, how?
Would it be better practice to change this to an actual user?
thank you in advance.
