I know licensing isn’t the most exciting topic, but I could use some advice on a specific scenario.
I have a Power Apps application with data stored in Dataverse. Due to departmental policies, this data needs to be synced with our on-premises infrastructure, specifically an Oracle DB. Our database team will handle the import on their side.
I’m trying to determine which premium license is best suited for accessing the Dataverse API. Should I go with a Power Apps Premium license, or a Power Automate license?
Hi!
To use the power apps the users shared they will need power app premium license because you use Dataverse, a premium connector. You can choose Power Apps Premium that allows to the user execute unlimited apps or Power Apps per app that allows to the user execute one app. It dependes of your scenario and volume of apps.
If you go to use power automate flows to retrieve the data from your oracle to dataverse, you also will need Power Automate Premium license to the user that executes the flow.
