Images Are Getting Cropped to a Square Format

I am creating an app that has a gallery, and when one clicks on an item in that gallery, a form in view mode shows information about the gallery item selected.

For some reason the photo that is displayed in the form gets cropped to a square format, even though that is not the image's original, rectangular format. I've got two images embedded below... one shows the issue at hand, and the other shows the properties for that image.

What am I doing wrong? I'm wondering if what's being displayed is actually a thumbnail of the image rather than the image itself?

NOTE: My data lives in Dataverse.

Thanks!
Kristine

Try changing the Image position property to Fill instead of Fit

@bscarlavai33 Thanks... I did try that, however, all that it did was horizontally stretch out the square to fill the space. I'm hoping to find something that will display the image without cropping it to a square. Thanks again.

It seems, Power Apps cannot retrieve the original image aspect ratio from a Dataverse Image column.

Try using a File column in Dataverse instead of Image, If aspect ratio matters (photos, documents, previews). Then, Bind the Image control to the File column then Set ImagePosition = ImagePosition.Fit
