Toggle switch in PowerApps Portal

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement where I need to create a Toggle switch in PowerApps Portal to trigger a Power Automate flow. I need to save the state of the toggle switch on checking and unchecking. If a user logs into the portal and turns the toggle switch to on state, the status of the switch should be saved until he turns off the switch again. Could anyone please help me on achieving this?

Your help is greatly appreciated..

Thank you

If you need to save state without saving the form, look into the Web API (preview) that is now available - you can capture on change and then call the Web Api to update (via Ajax) the value in CRM/CDS.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to trigger flow immediately after user toggles the switch or user will save the record first? If we are talking about second option - just create regular flow that will be triggered on the field update and that's it. First scenario is more complicated - you can trigger your flow from the Portal (see more details here) but regarding saving status might be an issue - you can try to use web form steps or local storage to save it.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The following blog describe how to trigger Microsoft Flow on click of custom ribbon button, I believe it's much helpful and can inspire you.
