Hi All,

I created a Navigation menu using humberger icon as trigger. The menu work fine with the OnSelect hamburger icon Menu will Appeared, but if I clicked a button and navigate to other screen the menu not auto hide on new load screen.

  1. In my case: On the Dashboard page, clicked the Hamburger and than clicked the button Add New and will navigate to the EditForm, but on EditForm Screen the Navigation still appeared (I expect it will auto hide). Any advice on this?
  2. And how to create the Navigation Sidebar smoothly appeared (flyout - maybe)

Many Thanks for any advice,

UPDATE: for solution 1. I used the UpdateContext function, but still stuck on question 2 😞

    Hey,

    You could try two ways:

    • In the "On Visible" of the target screen you could reset the Hamburguer Menu so it hides when this screen becomes visible.
    • In the "Navigate" method you could pass parameters like so:
      Navigate( TargetScreen, Fade, {hideMenu:true})
and depending on this variable show / hide the menu

Does any of these works for you?

About the animation, try playing with a timer to move things around. Need some inspiration? Check the PowerApps bank [ https://dynamics365society.uk/pab-directory ]
