Unable to add Custom AI Builder Model as Datasource

I have built a custom AI Builder model that extracts data from structured documents. I would like to use it within a Power App.

I can insert an AI Builder Form Processor control and use it that way, works fine. But I would like to add it as a data source so I can manually call the Predict method for files. I can go to Add data / AI models, my model is listed. I select my model the studio spins for a minute than stops, but the model is not added as a data source.

Am I missing a step? My model is published. Any thoughts or suggestions?

There was a reply I received a notification on for this thread from CedrickB (Power Apps), but it has been deleted. The reply stated:

Sorry I posted the reply too fast.

Form Processing models are not yet supported in PowerFx today.

You should use the built-in control instead.

We are going to filter it out from the datasource list to avoid confusion.

Built in controls are useless for my purpose. So much for using AI in my Power Apps.
