'Show Chart' button in model-driven app appears on first load only and then disappears

Hi everyone,

When I first open my model driven app, the 'Show Chart' button appears as expected on the 'All Contracts' page:

But then if I navigate to another page, and then return to the 'All Contracts' page, the button has disappeared:

It is not available under the ellipses either:

If I refresh the entire page, the button returns.

The button always works as expected when it is visible.

I tried to customise the command bar to see if there was some conditional rendering set up, but the 'Show chart' button does not appear as being available to customise.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Thanks!

    I have the same issue.

Quick fix: The Show Chart Button is visible again when the page is refreshed. The command bar may disappear when you access the charts pane, also refresh to restore.

I followed Trouble Shooting Ribbon documentation and used Command Checker. The Show Chart Button does not appear in the list of commands. Tried to "regenerate ribbon metadata" but it did not work.

Opened the command designer. The Show Chart Button is also missing here.

    Hi there.

Similar problem here, except that the Show Chart button never disappears. What I tried:
    1. One of the recommendations I got was to create a chart and the remove it. It's an attempt to internally reset the logic that displays the button when there are charts defined, and hide the button when there are none. That also did not work.
    2. Also tried butchering the toolbar with XRMToolbox's Ribbon Workbench but also no luck.
    3. Editing the command bar of the main grid also does not work - button is not there to disable.

And for those who wondered, there is no way you can use a js script to fix it either. The only options I can still investigate are:
    1. User Security Roles to prohibit using charts. But this limits the user completely. Stupid.
    2. Write a hacky-wacky PCF control to hide the button it. If at all possible, it really gets stupid.

Otherwise I'm out of ideas on this one.
