Power Apps studio saving freeze

Hello everyone,

 

Anyone ever face after edit your App, go to Save but it is freeze ? So it is stay "Saving...." with no end. 

I've to ended one time (after along wait) and it is not save, restart my computer, and do it again. but again when Save, it is freeze.

 

Please help.

    Yes, lately it has been happening almost constantly to me. I often have to wait 15 mins for it to clear up, if at all. My computer even starts crashing after awhile and two weeks ago one of my workstations broke down in the process. Hard to say if it is related, but these recent performance issues in the editor have made me miss a very important deadline with reputational damage as a result. I have frankly lost confidence in the reliability of this product.

    I'm in region Japan. I don't know if it has to do with server resource allocated to this region by Microsoft. But creating an app has become undoable for me.

    For this kind of issue, it is better to submit a support ticket with providing your Session ID. There you can get a effiective reponse and solution:

    Thank you for the reply. I have indeed submitted a ticket a few days ago but still waiting. In any case, we had to cancel the project, but would definitely wish to understand why these things can happen.

    Hi,

     

    Yes, I ended up raise a support ticket for this. I ran into some thread about this and when I saw there is Virtual Agent when initial register the ticket, hope rising since this might be a frequent issue and resolvable, but let down again because VA cannot handle it.

     

    It is sad as well to know it will take days to resolve. Hope the support is getting better. Best of luck with you, @Sakura , so sad when a project need to let go because of this.

    Hello both,

     

    Microsoft Support already attended my issue. It seems there is some problem on my latest version of the app. We have check through telemetry of my session and seems that some step at the backend process is missing, and it is "pure" accident since it is all the backend process on the cloud. I was suggested to restore to the last succeeded version that I manage to published. 

     

    I can close the case.
