Hello community,
I'm seeking advice on starting to build an HR app.
The main purpose of this app is to create a form and collect employee details to perform actions such as salary changes. These actions need approval from managers, etc. I already have the main concept in a sample. What I'm looking for is how to secure this app. As a developer, I can edit the app and perform updates, but I don't want to access the data — only HR should see this information.
Should this app be based on Dataverse? How can HR control developer access to ensure data security when updates are necessary?
What would be the best approach for this? As developers, we are only interested in performing updates or fixes. However, if we open the app in edit mode, we may inadvertently access the data.
