Begavior Settings - Open in application mode not working?

Hi Community!

I was checking the settings for Power Platform environments recently and came across a setting: "Open in application mode" (Settings > Product >Behavior).

Theoretically, according to Microsoft documentation, switching this feature to on mode should spod the following changes:

After switching this feature, I don't see any changes in my Model-Driven-App applications. In view of this, I have the following questions:

  1. Does this functionality work at all?
  2. If it works - Can anyone point out how MDA applications look like when this mode is enabled and disabled?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi !

Just wanted to check this first:

To be able to manage behavior settings you need to make sure you have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions to update. Could you please check that.

To check your user permissions, you can use the following Microsoft's documentation:

View your user profile in model-driven apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

Let me know in case you have the necessary permissions and still is not working on the updates.

    Regards,

    Hi @emadrigal

Thanks for your reply. I confirm - I am running on System Administrator privileges on a dedicated CDX environment (https://cdx.transform.microsoft.com/). So lack of permissions is not the cause of this behavior
