Hello,

Trying to setup the expense mobile app thru Power apps by following this documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/project-operations/expense/new-expense-mobile-app-install-and-configure

Everything is done but when we try to log in we just get stuck here:

Any ideas?

Thanks!

    Hi,

This usually means (for any connection), that the person who is trying to run the App, is required to give permissions for it run as them/on their behalf.

In this case, which I have seen in other apps, it isn't working.

Did you try to switch accounts or flick Fix connection and what happened/?

The other option is to have the person who DOES have permissions, go into the app, and remove the connection in question and recreate it. It usually it's just an issue with how it was setup. Have run into this with apps we have built and a specific connection which is shared does this.

    Cheers

    Hi @FLMike ,

Yes I did recreate the connection several times but it's not working. When I click on Fix connection it asked me to log in and then just get this message:

Also the log in that I tried have both Owner and Co-owner access on the app but both got same error.

I just noticed that when I looked at the status of the customer connector it is showing as Off. Not that it was mentioned on the documentation from MS, but should it be On after I have updated the connector with the security details?

Thanks Michael. I did somehow resolve this by adding the Expense mobile role in FinOps itself, which is not in the MS documentation that I was following. The sign in is working however, the app itself is not. After signing we can see the function to add and view the expense report but can not click on anything. Apparently, we are not the only one having this issue. Probably because this app is still in Preview.

Yeah sorry, I figured it was a permission issue, its just not always clear to what.
