Office365 Users. ManagerV2

Morning/Afternoon/Evening all..

I have a small issue using the connector / function mentioned.~

My expression as written currently is -

If(IsBlankOrError(Office365Users.ManagerV2(ThisItem.Id).displayName),"No Manager Set",Office365Users.ManagerV2(ThisItem.Id).displayName)

The If(IsBlankorerror was added by me trying to get around an error it was flagging up.

This is used in a label in a gallery which is just -

Office365Users.SearchUserV2().value

I'd like to add my label as an AddColumns filed but it won't let me as the formula suggests errors.

The label does show errors however it does populate as expected in my gallery

Any ideas please?

    Hi @LiamR89

Unfortunately, if the field is blank there is no way to get around this error since it's coming straight from the API.
You can choose to ignore it if you like. Perhaps, and hopefully, this will be updated one day...

For your reference, I've put together some posts reporting the same issue:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/If-the-users-manager-is-blank/td-p/578693

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/The-service-returned-an-error-Office365Users-Manager-call/td-p/95733

I was getting annoyed about this one as well, once... Let's hope for the best.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks @FabianAckeret ,

I can work around / without it anyway.

Ideally I want to use this to set the users manager on app start, if this is blank then navigate them to a page advising them to speak to their manager and ask for AD to be updated.
As the set stage may fail , I can't then navigate though.

For now, I'll go without this feature and try and pick it up in my flow that they have no manager.
