Solved: Possible to Disable Power Apps Trial Accounts Comp... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Hi @HSheild , Thank you ! So need to use the PowerShell Commands in order to Block Power Apps Trial licenses .
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-powershell#block-trial-licenses-commands
Just for sure as written in the document ---"when using Remove-AllowedConsentPlans all existing plans of the specified type will be removed from all users in the tenant and will not be recoverable."--- (specifiq type )so if we apply this PowerShell Commands " Remove-AllowedConsentPlans " All exsiting Apps those are bult in trial license will be remove/stop working ?
or Does it also will remove all the licenses(Trial + Regualr licenses+Premium) from Tenant ?
Many Thanks //
In my experience, turning off the plans as above does not remove any existing trial licenses. The plans are also perpetually extendable. When the trial runs out, users are prompted with the option to extend. We still have people on the old P2 plans as well as the current before we turned the option off.
@grantreid Okay , Thanks for sharing the information
I'm assuming there is a bulk way to remove all users from the trial license plan. Did you end up doing that?
Since the above post, the rules have changed slightly. Microsoft implemented a 3 x 30 day trial period. Users can extend 3 times for 30 days before they're cut off. As for removing in bulk, can be done easily from the admin panel by ticking the box above the main list of users to select all and remove. This approach should be considered for impact. If a user has built something useful in the time they have their perpetual trial license, instant removal might not be the best path and guidance should be offered. On the other hand - should they have been aware of what they were doing? Probably... rip it off them... no soup for you.
