Files in the Attachments Control are not opening in Teams App

Hi all,

I'm using a Teams List with a customized Forms integrated, it's not an App. I never had issues with the Attachments control. Uploading, deleting and opening actions were working perfectly fine. Recently, me and any member of the team/channel can no longer open the attachments directly from the Attachments control in Teams App and can only do so if we open the list in SharePoint in the browser.

 

Do you know any solution? Is this a bug in Teams App?

     Hi,
    Do you get the same if you open teams in the browser ?  if you can , then it might be the desktop version problem.

    Hi @stampcoin thanks for the hint. In fact everything seems to work normally when opening Teams in the browser. So, apparently seems to be a problem with the desktop app. How can I check the version?

    please try it in browser https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ to see if the problem exists or not.
    and what about the mobile app ?

    Is this an existing solution that was working or a new solution which you created? -> This is not a new solution I created, Since 2022 I'm using the Attachments control to a customized form in a Teams-integrated list.
     
    Using browser https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ and opening the list in the sharepoint browser the attachments control works normally, so I'm assuming there's an issue with Teams Desktop App.
     
    I've reported to Microsoft from the feedback option in the Teams Desktop App, but I didn't get any feedback so far and I'd like to know if there was any recent update affecting it.

    Have you tried to update teams desktop ? or use a different computer/ask team meber to try ?

    Hi , I have the latest version Microsoft Teams version 25060.205.3499.6849.
     
     
    Any member/owner of the team has this issue with the teams desktop app.
    I tried also to Clear Teams Cache %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and reopen teams. It works only one time when trying to download the one attachment from the control.
