Cannot call (extend) Agent with Copilot for M365

Hi all,

I have created one custom Copilot for M365 and published it.
I am trying to add Copilot for Microsoft 365 as a sub-agent to my Copilot Studio Agent.
I am using Production type environment and I think that I have all necessary PP Admin setup done (I think).
But still option "Copilot for Microsoft 365" is grayed-out.

Is this feature already available? Few days ago panel for adding sub-agents had another GUI and label "Coming soon" was assigned to this feature.

No, the “Copilot for Microsoft 365” sub-agent integration is not fully rolled out yet.
What you're seeing (grayed-out tile) is expected, even if your custom M365 Copilot is published and your environment is configured correctly.

    Even if:
    Your environment is Production,
    Copilot Studio is enabled,
    You have admin permissions,
You already created a Custom Copilot for M365,
And the Copilot is Published, the “Copilot for Microsoft 365” connector cannot be selected until your tenant receives the full capability flag.
This is controlled on the Microsoft side, not on the admin side, so your configuration is not the issue.

This behaviour is expected right now. Even though “Copilot for Microsoft 365” appears in the sub-agent list, Microsoft has not fully enabled this capability yet across all tenants. The button remains greyed out until the feature is rolled out to your region and environment.
Microsoft confirms this in their documentation:
Publish agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot
What's new in Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility

“Connecting to Copilot for Microsoft 365 is in preview and is being rolled out gradually. This capability may not yet be available in all regions or tenants.”

    In short:
You’re configured correctly — the feature is still in controlled rollout. Once Microsoft enables it for your tenant, the “Copilot for Microsoft 365” card will become selectable.

    Hope this helps clarify!
