Edit Current Date on Canvas App

I'm building a canvas app and I have it set to populate the current date on the Date Picker value. When I try to edit the date on an entry and save, it defaults back to the current date. What if statement do I need to enter in the default for the Date Picker value.

Hi,

There are some details missing, like is this a Form? (Edit or new). Are you asking why it doesn't show the Saved Date?

1) Make sure your form is in Edit mode otherwise its just doing to use its default,

2) Make sure your item is set to one you want to Edit, so it has the values

3) You need to check the DefaultDate Property and make sure it is set to the Proper ThisItem.YourDateColumn

Otherwise its always going to do what its doing.
