Solution Import Failure "Property LookupFilterBeginsWith is not declared in the control manifest"

Hi All, 

I am encountering an issue when trying to import a solution that contains the "Microsoft PowerApps Grid Control". The import fails with the following error message:

ImportAsHolding failed with exception : Property LookupFilterBeginsWith is not declared in the control manifest.
 
 
  • The error occurs only when the PowerApps Grid Control is applied to a subgrid in a form.
  • If I remove the control completely from the subgrid, the solution imports successfully without errors.
  • I have tried removing and re-adding the PowerApps Grid Control in the form editor, but the issue persists.
  • This issue did not occur in previous imports of the same solution, suggesting that something may have changed in a recent update.

What I Have Tried So Far

  1. Removing and Re-adding the Control:

    • I removed the PowerApps Grid Control from the subgrid, saved, and published the form.
    • I have removed the PowerApps grid control from the form completely and then re-added it 
    • I then re-added the control and republished the form, but the import still fails.
  2. Checking for "LookupFilterBeginsWith" in the Customisations.xml File:

    • The LookupFilterBeginsWith property is referenced in the solution's customizations.xml.
    • I have removed it from there and it works, but whenever i re-add in the grid control it fails again 
  3. The solution has been successfully imported before, with the PowerApps Grid Control applied to a subgrid, which suggests that this is either a recent change or an unexpected bug.
 
 
Im not 100% sure but there is a new setting "Filter lookup suggestions from their starting letter" that may be causing the issue.

    any updates? I have the same error during deployment.

    EDIT: Delete the powerapps gridControl and add it back. We set the new property: Filter lookup suggestions from their starting letter to blank(). After save its on No (Enum)

    Morning, 
     
    So it looks to be resolved now. The Dataverse version of the environment for Test was different than Dev. We Raised a Microsoft ticket to get the versions the same and it looked like it worked.

    Temporarily removed this property from XML files. This adjustment has proven beneficial.
