Licenses assigned to environment but users are still prompted to start a trial

A canvas power app has been created and shared with users. Power Apps per app licenses are applied to the environment but users are still asked to start a trial to get access to the app. Access for 1 user is restricted on mobile, but it works on a desktop. How is this fixed?

    You mentioned applying the licenses to the environment, but did you also change the settings of the app to use Per App licenses?  Its off by default.  See Step 3 here:

    This happens when the user doesn’t have the correct Power Apps per app license assigned or the license isn’t applied properly to the app.

    Check and assign the per-app license directly to the user via the Power Platform admin center and republish the app. Also, ensure the user logs out and back into the mobile app

    @SwatiSTW Per app licenses can NOT be assigned directly to users.  That's not how they work.  They are allocated to an environment and Apps in that environment can then be enabled to use them. If a user without a premium license runs one of those apps in that environment they will then be assigned a per app license from the pool of licenses. There is no other way to get a per app license.

    @Pstork1-Thank you for the feedback. We are still having an issue. After following all the steps outlined in the documentation the per app licenses are still not working. The diagnostic is showing no issues. Any other ideas as to what might be the problem?

    Same issue has been occuring for me for years. Eventually once the 30 day trial runs out, the licence takes effect. I assumed it was just not a great design. 

    Apps setup to use per-app licences, assigned correct licence. Like I say, once the trial expires they just seem to consume a licence at that point.

    Did anyone find an answer for this? Having the same issue. Upgraded a teams environment to full dataverse and assigned app passes to the environment, but users are still getting prompted to start a Power Apps trial. I'm an admin and I'm getting prompted
