Hello all,
It's not my first time trying to add the 'Environment' data source in a canvas app to use processes in it. (for reference: Call Dataverse actions directly in Power Fx | Microsoft Power Apps).
Today I went to add it to a new app which needs to use some processes, and I can't find it in the list of data sources. I've also made sure to check that it also is not in the app already.
I've searched long and wide regarding the matter but couldn't find anything.
I thought that, maybe it had something to do with the environment itself that the app is in? so I also tinkered around in the environment settings to no avail.
Nothing in the actual canvas app's settings yielded results either, including any of the preview, experimental and retired features.
At this point, I'm not sure what to do next, so here I am asking.
Does anyone know what might be causing the Environment data source to not appear?
Took a long while, but I found the solution, turn this option off in the Retired section of the settings:
