Alert! Powerapps authoring version 3.24063.22 thru 3.24064.18 Not Showing Gallery Data

There is a gallery that is selected (G1) . That selection creates a collection from a SP list that another gallery (G2) shows the results. This has been working before, but all of sudden, it no longer shows the data, but does show the number of items in the gallery. I reverted to authoring version 3.24062.17, and it all works like its supposed to. In the example below, it shows 4 items which is correct but not the data.

    @Yobeekster ,

    I had the same issue yesterday across two tenants with two different apps. Reverted to 3.24061 for the moment. I have a blog on the process if you need it.

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    Same problem here, I face a lot of problem with 3.24064.18 e.g.

    • When using ThisItem.Columnname in SOME edit form, it not return data but just blank. This seem to happen randomly, I didn't found any specific condition that causing the problem
    • When you referencing to Combobox.Selected SOMETIMES it not return all column of selected record but only few column (Even my datasource is SharePoint which is not support explicit column selection)
    • An Edit form that previously work fine but now it not allow us to use SubmitForm() it keep saying the field I edit is read-only.

    All the problem above can solved by switch back to 3.24062.17

    @VeGETzX  and @Yobeekster ,

    Not ideal in the long term, but this also fixes it (turning it on)

    Hello everyone,

    I am very worried with version 3.24064.18 of POWERAPPS, since my 8 applications no longer open. I reverted to version 3.24063.22, and all of my applications work fine.

    I really have no idea what the problem is... 😞

    Suggestions?

    THANKS

    @ericrouthier ,

    The issue is set out in this thread - there is an issue with the version release. You have used one solution, the other (disable explicit column selection) is below.

    @Kedar_til - I believe you raised this as well.

    Thanks @WarrenBelz  for your help on this and finding a temp solution. I will give it a go over the weekend sometime and report back. Cheers!

    @WarrenBelz

    Thank you, your solution fixes the issue with the gallery. But, my application still does not open in version 3.24064.18. I tried version 3.24064.18 by changing the  settings “Disable explicit column Selection”, but my apps open only with the version 3.24063.22.

    When I change version, Powerapps sets the Publication status of version 3.24063.22 to “TEST”. I don't know if that has any impact.

    Best regards

    Hi Everyone!

    The newest recommended version 3.24071.7 appears to have fixed the issues in not showing the data.  I tested this on a saved copy of the production app and worked flawlessly. I have also tested this on the production app and published the changes and it works. I was about to try the "Disable Explicit..." setting recommended by @WarrenBelz, but then saw that there was a newer version and thought I should give it a go first.

    I made no other changes other than simply publishing the newest recommended authoring version noted above. I believe that the Powerapps team saw the issues we were posting about and fixed them. At least I hope so!!

    Hope this helps on your issues! Thanks again everyone for replying!!!!
