I recently migrate my classic Power Virtual Agents chatbot to a premium Copilot License. The way I was able to finally migrate it was by moving it to a Managed Solution, instead of an Unmanaged one. I also had to change the environment where it originally resided. Now I am able to see all the topics I had manually added but I also added other knowledge sources - SharePoint lists, public websites, pdf file and when I ask the copilot, I always get the same error message:
Ensure that all external knowledge sources like SharePoint lists, websites, and PDFs are configured properly and accessible in the new environment. Make sure the correct permissions are granted to access these sources. If the Copilot does not have permissions it may throw an error.
Since you migrated your bot to a new environment, there might be conflicts between the new Dataverse instance and how the knowledge is stored or retrieved. The Copilot might be attempting to call resources or topics from the previous environment.
Verify that all custom topics, entities, and connections are fully migrated and not linked to resources in the old environment. Check for any deprecated features or methods that might have been impacted by the migration.
