Expand PDF Generation pop-up in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Hi All

We have a requirement of a client where we need to send a PDF document to a document management system.

Is there a way to pick up the generated document once it is created, automatically store it to the timeline or have an indication of the template that is chosen by the user when he generates a document? They can either download it or send it via e-mail but we need to store it in all cases in the document management system.

We will be using the new PDF generation capabilities that will be released with the 2020 Wave 2 release.

Technically speaking we need a way to expand the new PDF generation popup (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2020wave2/sales/dynamics365-sales/simplify-document-workflows-enhanced-pdf-capabilities), by either adding a custom option or adding an extra event in the existing options. Or, is there a way to tap into the document generation process so that we could launch an extra flow/process based upon that result.

Not from my experiments - you best bet is to watch the sharepoint folder and use that.

I've had a similar issue earlier - we fixed it with a custom activity entity from which you selected the appropriate document and then we did everything in the background via a Flow / Business Automate...
