importing from excel to dataverse

I have an excel file with a pivot table which is generated by goin to website and getting fuel prices for last 5 months.

Then i get a regular excel table which will simply copy the 5 months of pivot table, i call this table fuel_prices

The issue when i try to import this fuel_prices to dataverse, it imports in american format mm/dd/yyyy, although my dataverse environment format is uae with dd/mm/yyyy , in addition please note that my month column in dataverse is date only

so why is that ?

Ok, so it sounds like the data is correct, it's just that it is displaying American style and that causes confusion. Luckily there is an easy answer here.

Go to Settings --> Advanced Settings --> System Settings --> Formats and here you can change the Date format to display the way you expect.

Thanks for replying, my dataverse is already set to uae region with date format dd/mm/yyyy , its strange why it is enforcing mm/dd/yyyy

Maybe your excel sheet is interpreting that date as mmddyyyy? Make sure you have the right date format picked there.
